Pink Steals the #1 Seed in the Final Week

The regular season is over, and it ended about as dramatically as it could have.

Green had held the league lead since Week 3, and carried a 9-3 record into the final week. All they needed to lock up the #1 seed was to close the season strong. Instead, they ran directly into Pink — and lost, 3-4, in the very last week of the regular season.

That single result flips the top of the standings. Pink finishes 10-4, the best record in the league. Green finishes 9-5 — still a strong season, but a real gut-punch of a way to lose the top seed, on the final match of the year, to the exact team that overtook them.

Blue also finishes 9-5, matching Green's record, with Purple rounding out the projected top 4 at 8-6. Yellow and Red finish 6-8, and Black and Orange bring up the rear at 4-10 apiece — a brutal finish for Orange in particular, who was 3-3 as recently as Week 3 before going 1-7 the rest of the way.

Individually, the season ends with the closest race at the top all year: Whale Saber finishes #1 with a combat score of 187, just 2 points ahead of Rogue Warhead at 185. Chaos Scythe rounds out the top 3 at 180 — the only bot to finish in the top 5 every single week of the season.
