Black's Perfect Start Falls Apart in Week 2

Black looked like the class of the league after Week 1 — a perfect 2-0 start, no team playing better. Week 2 had a very different idea.

Black dropped both of their matches this week, including a 0-4 shutout at the hands of Red — a team that had opened the season winless. That result alone flips the standings: Black falls to 2-2, while Red picks up their first win of the season.

Elsewhere, Blue and Green both moved to 3-1, tied atop the standings. Purple bounced back from an 0-2 start with a pair of wins to reach 2-2, including a win over Pink.

Individually, the top of the leaderboard held steady — Venom Scythe stayed at #1 with Chaos Scythe right behind at #2, the same gap between them as Week 1. Whatever's coming for the rest of the season, Week 2 made one thing clear: a hot start guarantees nothing.
